To build muscle you are going to have to accept that you will also put on some fat during the building process. It is possible to not put on fat but unless you are an expert nutritionist (and I'm assuming that you are not else you would not be asking this question) then attempting to avoid any fat will simply slow down your muscle gains to a crawl. I'm not suggesting that it's necessary to get fat, but you can expect a little fat.However, once you've built, your extra muscle mass will make it simple enough to remove that extra fat.
To build muscle you need to lift heavy weights. Don't even bother with such things as crunches or isolation exercises unless you enjoy wasting your time. If you expect to gain serious muscle then you'll need weights, bench and some sort of safety device such as a rack. You may prefer to start off in a gym but beware of the instructors advice there - only take it in terms of the correct form, do not listen to suggested programs as it's unlikely that they have any specific expertise in what you need.
Food is going to be one of your main obstacles. I suggest that you start by using a tracker program such as FitDay.com to see just what you are currently eating and then adjust from there. You will obviously need to increase your protein intake, but I can almost guarantee that your current diet is poor in other vital nutrients (else you wouldn't be slim).
Don't bother with cardio for at least the first month, but then you should choose a sprint or interval based routine. Long slow cardio will do nothing for you but get you bored.

Well it really depends on your diet, sleep and also of course workout regimen.I would recommend you to do the workout regimen which I am doing:
I eat around 3500-4000 calories a day. You may need less than that, that was what I was doing when bulking up, but I am 6'2. Make it 5-6 meals per day.
I always train only two muscle groups which go together. Try to hit 10reps on each machine. Here is my regimen
Monday - Biceps and Back,Wednesday - Triceps, Shoulders and Chest
Friday - Legs and Abs
Remember it is also important that you take Portein(around 1g per pound) supplement which works as food for your body together with supplement which increase Nitric Oxide and HGH levels in your body.

I`m a guy. I`m 18. Im sick of my fats. I have a low confidence. I wanna know How can I get rid of these fats, without working out so hard like eveyday in a gym, just simple exercise or workout, Is running good? To get the big bulky muscles the first thing that you would do would be to get the muscles in shape and get a lot of oxygenated blood to them, starting out with high reps for about two weeks, and then gradually over an 8-10 week period lowering the reps and get down to 1-3 reps. That slim muscle look is the high reps and only changing the amount of weight a little bit. For women this is not the same, women do not produce enough testosterone to get their muscles big by lifting weights, trust me, you will not get big muscles. Women will get slimmer in the are their working out, toning up, and getting a muscle definition, not bulky

The only real way is to eat only organic fruit, veg and fish. No red meat (if you want to eat red meat, choose the least fatty meat you can find) plenty of nuts/lentils, that kinda thing and plenty of exercise (probably at least a half an hour walk a day).
If people did this in the first place they wouldnt get unfit/overweight. We were put on earth with fruit and veg, not McDonalds and subway (its not as healthy as you think).
Oh and drinking enough water till your urine is clear healps too.
And remember that suger turns into fat. So products that claim to have no fat, look at the suger content.

firstly i'd say if you eat alot of junk food you'll need to change your eating habits and relationship with food.
i'd say give yourself a month but as the festive season is here maybe start in january.
remember your changing this for life as diets don't keep the weight off so choose foods you like that give the right amount of energy and goodness etc.once you've sorted your eating habits you can build up an exercise program. if your already swimming then i don't know how much spare time you have but schedule in maybe two-three times a week to do something active. it can be running, cycling, hockey anything you like.
nearer summer your probably want to tone your body more so try some weight training.

How can I slim my lower body?
I've been jogging, eating healthy, getting enough sleep, drinking plenty of water and green tea....etc. but no matter what I do I can see to lose weight on my lower body!I really want to slim down my butt and legs.
I'm going to try to increase the cardio over a period of a month so see if that helps. Any other thoughts? Please from someone who has actually lost weight this way!
