3. QUESTION:
   What is a Good shapewear for plus size women?
   I am about s 3x and looking for a good shape wear system that I can wear everyday and breath. I am large busted 44 H and my mid section is the problem. I have a low pooch after 2 sections and a muffin top. What will work the best and not roll down?

     Avenue, a plus-size clothing store, carries a good range of plus-size shapewear on-line. Also at some of the on-line bra & lingerie specialty websites that have huge inventories, you can look for the Ragowear brand for sizes all the way up to a 12X.

     I agree with the previous poster - you will want to look for either an all in one body shaper style, or a waist cincher (which are harder to find, and actually much less comfortable). Unfortunately, in my experience, most department store shapewear lines don't go much larger than a 2xl.

4. QUESTION:
   Does anyone know of some short-waisted plus size bustiers or corsets? Regular boned shapewear is too long!?
   I'm plus size and short-waisted, so regular cinchers and bustiers with boning always bend at my hips - they're too long and uncomfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions on kinds of shapewear or certain brands that comfortably fit someone with a short torso? I already have non-boned shapewear - I'm specifically looking for light boning and off-the-rack (custom corsets are too pricey for me).

   Has anyone tried the Dr. Rey's Shapewear, High Waist Step in, in a plus size ?
   Before I invest in one of these, I want to hear from anyone who has tried one of his products. They seem like maybe too good to be true? But then again, he is the best in his field! Any reviews on the High Waist Step In, in a plus size is greatly appreciated!

     He is not the best in the field. He is just someone who is more publicized because he has a television show. I've heard amazing things about Spanx, perhaps that would work better for you?

6. QUESTION:
   Can anyone help me choose a size for a body shaper?
   I'm a plus size woman, I wear a size 14 or 16. I have a party tonight and I'm going out. I have a lot of belly fat and I'm trying to get a ASSETS body shapewear at target. I know they don't let us try on the body shapers. What size do I need to get?

     there should be a chart on the package but it might say so many inches around the waist or something so you should take a couple measurements first

7. QUESTION:
   What shapewear do you recommend for the wedding day?
   I'm plus sized and my main problem is my midsection. I've got some jelly rolls there.

     Spanx are an excellent brand, however they are rather pricey. At Target, they have an alternative to Spanx, and they are called Assets. It is made by the same company as Spanx, and the are less expensive than them. =) I hope this helps.

    What brands make good, everday shapewear/girdles?
    I am a plus sized woman and have just recently had a baby. My mother has been hounding me to wear a gridle saying that I "won't regret it". After dropping most of the baby weight, I am stuck with some extra flab and a couple of ponuds and thought I'd try my mom's advice. I was wondering if anyone knew some good quality shapewear that I could wear everyday. DON'T REFER ME TO SPANX! I have some of there pieces and the tights work wonders, but they are not comfortable for casual everyday wear (I am a SAHM) and there everyday pieces don't offer enough support.

    To keep the wobblies under control, I wear Tummy & Thigh Control Shapewear, but when my girl sees me in them she says they're gross. Anyone out there who knows something less 'gross', but still helps out ? Thanks !

      Hi Kristin, I'm a mother of two myself, and also a martyr to the wobblies.
      I don't think the shapewear in your link is gross for an adult (I have them myself), but I don't think you should a 14 year old wear them.
      The best shapewear a young girl can have is her own body. Try to get her to have a more active way of life. Walking and swimming can be easy activities to achieve a firmer body, and you can even do them together.
      If you manage to change your diet (avoid junk food, go for more veggies and fruit), you might both steer away from the wobblies lol.

    corset-like shape wear?
    i am a plus size girl and i want a resonably priced (less than ) strapless, long line corset type of shapewear. im interested in something to go beneath a gown and i want it to push up my breasts and also control my figure past my hips. i also want it to be sturdy and able to shape my body firmly. everything ive found either only shapes beneath your breasts or above your hips or looks flimsy. im really after something similar to historically acurate long line corsets.

      you're going to hate to hear this but, a good corset runs about 0

      Some of the spanx body suits run between 40-80
      they aren't as pretty as a traditional corset but since its under the dress who cares?

      Why don't you try Playtex or avon. My mother used those brand for her everyday girdle. Try also to have a sit ups everyday it will work also.
