Good Strapless Body Shapers?
I've had multiple types of Spanx and I've always had the same problem, they start to roll down in the middle of the night and I have to keep excusing my self to the bathroom to hike them up again. Or they create like a muffin at the stop of the waistband which is horribly unattractive!

Have you had this problem with rolling down? How did you fix it?

I figured I might give a go for the all-over slip or like body suit?

But if I'm wearing an strapless dress I don't want the ugly straps, are there any like strapless body suits/slips. I know spanx has one, any experience with that?

  The spanx come in two pieces which can seem like a convenience but as you have found out it can roll up on you. Trying a a fuller one piece body shaper might help you a lot more. Ardyss does make the body magic which is a one piece body shaper. The body magic does have straps so if you are looking for a strapless one they do have the body fashion to choose from. I had a baby 7 months ago and I haven't been able to get rid of my nasty looking tummy. I am going to be my sisters Maid of Honor in November and I need something that will control my stomach but not push that fat upward and hang over the top like other shapers have. Has anyone tried Spanx, and what has been your experience? Can anyone recomend a really good body shaper. I need something that is preferably strapless or has removable straps. Thank you!

  Couple of suggestions.
  
  #1 I have great luck with Sassybax. It's actually a bra that holds it in and doesn't push up and has no hooks in back. You step into it like a bathing suit. You have to pull it down a bit to get tummy coverage. They have strapless, I believe. Warning, they are so popular and so incredibly effective that the manufacturer has distribution problems. You have to call around to find one in stock to try on. Plus, they are expensive, about to , but for a wedding you might want to spend it, I don't know. If you just think you can order it off the Internet, you can't. Unfortunately!
  
  #2 If you want one that goes all the way down, a real body shaper, Olga has a really nice sheer one that is very comfortable. About at a Macy's type store. Of course, that's not strapless, because the hold-in power comes from being anchored with straps on the top and the under-the-crotch fastener at the bottom.
  
  #3 Try a bigger size of the one you already have that pushes the fat up. You can donate it after the wedding to some other new mom when you lose all the "new-baby fluffies". She will bless your name for it.
  
  #4 Sit junior on your tummy and play peek-a-boo with him while you do crunches, making sure to keep your abs long and lean. Try to make your belly-button touch your backbone while you are doing the crunches. Plus, the baby will wear him/herself out laughing and you can get some work done or take a well--deserved nap. This is a great stress-buster and stress makes your tummy bulge, ask any college student at exam time!
  
  #5 Eat lots of bananas and asparagus and drink lots of water. The banana has potassium that helps keep water in balance and the asparagus (as well as parsley) are great natural diuretics. My wedding dress is form fitting until the start of the highs and strapless. i want have an hour glass figure and a perky butt. i see some shape wear that do both but they're connected making it hard to go the bathroom. i found a waist cincher (Bali) that begins under the bra and ends at the end of the hips, which is good for the hour glass, but i'm thinking of also getting the ones that start at mid stomach and end at mid thigh to accentuate the behind. i'm concerned that the overlapping of the two pieces will cause a noticeable lines. i also don't want to wear something that makes me hot, i get hot very easily and it will be in June. should i just go with the waist cincher or get both?

Spanx higher power sizing for someone who's in-between sizes?
I am 5'1" and 127 pounds, so it seems like I'm right between a size A and size B for Spanx. I'm looking at the Higher Power body shaper. I'm worried that an A might be way too tight and a B won't be snug enough to flatten my stomach. Do you suggest I get an A or a B? And I kind of have a large butt? So that might push me up to a B (but I don't want it sliding down from my midriff!). I am wanting to wear this with a strapless pencil dress.
